Two Men Injured In Violent Crash In Laurel County
Two London men were injured in a violent crash Tuesday night, according to the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office.
Investigators said a Nissan 350 Z, driven by Cameron Harville, 23, of London, left the southbound lane of Wyan Road, traveled 114-feet and hit a tree head-on.
Investigators said Harville was ejected from the car. He was taken by ambulance to a hospital in London and later airlifted to UK Hospital in Lexington with critical injuries.
Investigators said a passenger in the car, Michael Cornett, 23, of London, was airlifted to UK Hospital from the accident scene with serious injuries.
The Sheriff’s Office said the accident happened around 8:00 p.m., about 5-miles west of London.
The cause of the accident remained under investigation.
