Two killed in Wolfe County collision

CAMPTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Two people were killed in a two vehicle collision Thursday morning in Wolfe County, according to Kentucky State Police.

Investigators say 47-year-old Ralph Wooton, of Jackson, was traveling south on KY 15.  Wooton was driving a 2007 Ford Mustang when KSP says he crossed the center line and collided with a 2020 Ford Explorer.

45-year-old Billy K. Adams, of Blackey, along with Billy S. Adams and Connie T. Adams were in the 2020 Ford Explorer.  Billy S. Adams and Connie T. Adams were transported to Kentucky River Medical Center in Jackson to be treated for injuries.

Investigators say Billy S. Adams was later transported by helicopter to the University of Kentucky Hospital for further treatment.

KSP says Ralph Wooton and Billy K. Adams both died at the scene.

The accident is still under investigation.
