Two injured in overnight downtown shooting

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Lexington Police are investigating a shooting that left two injured in downtown early Sunday morning.

Around 2:15 a.m. officers were called to the 300 block of South Limestone by Winslow Street for a shooting.

Police say two were left with gunshot wounds and were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

LPD sys the suspect fled before officers arrived.

The investigation is still ongoing.
