Two car-pedestrian crashes in one night

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington Police report there were two separate crashes between cars and pedestrians Saturday night.

Officers says the first crash happened at Devonport Drive and Village Drive around 7:30 p.m.

A silver car with dark tinted windows reportedly hit a man trying to cross the street and then drove off.

Police say they expect the man to survive.

About 30 minutes later, officers report there was another crash on New Circle Road near Meadow Lane.

Officers say an SUV hit a man who was trying to cross New Circle, but not a crosswalk.

That driver stopped and waited for police.

Officers say he isn’t facing any charges and they expect the person that was hit to survive his injuries.
