Two arrested after stolen trailer found in yard

LONDON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Two Laurel County men were arrested after a stolen trailer was found in their yard, according to sheriff’s deputies.

Investigators say the trailer was found at the home of Thomas and Clay Mosley, off of West Laurel Road, Wednesday night.

Deputies say Thomas Mosley first told them a stranger dropped off the trailer in their front yard.  They say he later told them he gave the stranger permission to leave the trailer in the yard.  He was charged with receiving stolen property under $10,000, according to investigators.

Deputies say while they were at the home, Clay Mosley said he was going to kill the man who stole the trailer.  He was charged with terroristic threatening, according to deputies.

Both men were lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
