Troopers investigate Henry County brothers found dead

LOCKPORT, Ky. (WTVQ)- The Kentucky State Police is investigating the death of two brothers in the Henry County community of Lockport.

On November 20th at approximately 1:48 p.m. Kentucky State Police Post 5 Campbellsburg received a call of two deceased males in a residence on River Road in Lockport.  Troopers along Henry County EMS, Kentucky River Fire, and Henry County Coroner’s office responded to the scene.

Richard Parrish, 61, of Lockport, and Oscar Parrish, 69, also of Lockport were found unresponsive by the caller inside the Parrish residence at 469 River Road in Lockport.  Troopers and the Henry County Coroner’s office made entry into the residence after obtaining a search warrant and both subjects were pronounced deceased by the Henry County Coroner at 4:00 p.m.

Next of kin was notified and an autopsy has been scheduled for tomorrow.  Preliminary investigation shows no signs of foul play and more information will be forthcoming.
