“Trooper Teddy” visits Norton Children’s Hospital

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ)- Children at the Norton Children’s Hospital in Louisville got a special surprise from Kentucky State Police Tuesday.

KSP personnel visited pediatric patients at the hospital to help lift their spirits as they undergo medical treatment.

The group distributed 90 “Trooper Teddy” bears to the children.

“Trooper Teddy” has a hat like those worn by KSP troopers and officers and a tee shirt bearing the KSP seal.

KSP has been distributing the bears since December of 1989.
