Trimble County school employee accused of inappropriate relationship with student

TRIMBLE COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – Kentucky State Police have arrested a Trimble County High School employee, accusing her of having an inappropriate relationship with a student.

Troopers say they began investigating 23-year-old Alexandra Lawhorn, of Bedford, after getting a complaint involving a Trimble County High School employee and a student of the school. Investigators say the complaint alleged Lawhorn was engaging in an inappropriate relationship with a student at the school.

According to KSP, Lawhorn was an instructional assistant at Trimble County High School at the time of the alleged incident.

She is charged with unlawful transaction with a minor and tampering with physical evidence.
