Tree Keeps Car From Going Over Cliff
It isn’t everyday that a tree is credited with potentially saving someone’s life, but it happened Tuesday morning in Pulaski County.
The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office said Patricia Adams, 54, lost control of her 2006 Ford Mustang after hitting black ice on Bethlehem Ridge Road in the Science Hill community just after 7:00 a.m.
Investigators said a tree kept the out of control car from going over a cliff.
Rescue crews were able to secure the car, which was suspended in the tree, by using a cable.
Rescue teams had to remove the front windshield to get Adams out of the car.
Miraculously, she was not injured, according to investigators.
