Tree hits gas meter in Woodford Co.

WOODFORD COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- According to Columbia Gas, a tree hit a gas meter in Woodford County after the storms Friday.

This happened at Old Frankfort Pike and Midway Road in Woodford County.

Columbia Gas says gas is spewing out, but it is not a dangerous situation.

They have a crew on scene working to fix the meter and another crew on the way.

One customer is without service.

Colombia Gas does not know how long it will take to get this cleaned up, but to avoid the area if possible.
