Transportation Cabinet to hold public meeting about US 60 widening in Montgomery Co.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet will hold a public information meeting to discuss the US 60 Widening Project in Montgomery County. The route portion is from west of Bentbrook Subdivision to the Mt. Sterling Bypass/KY 686.

The meeting format will be informal (the public may stop by anytime between 5 and 7 p.m.).  This meeting is to gather input and provide information about the project.  Handouts, containing information about the project, comment sheets, and displays will be available at the meeting.  Representatives from the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet and their consultant will be available to answer questions.

The public meeting will take place 5 – 7 p.m. on Tuesday, October 2, 2018.  The meeting location will be the Gateway Christian Church – Gymnasium, 801 Winchester Road in Mt. Sterling, Montgomery County.
