Trailer fire shuts down part of KY-30 in Laurel County

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office says a trailer fire shut down part of KY-30 for about two hours this afternoon.

Deputies say it started around 2:30 at the intersection of KY-3630, near the Laurel- Jackson County line. Investigators say a Dodge pickup truck was pulling a 30-foot gooseneck trailer of hay when the trailer caught fire.

The truck was saved when it was disconnected from the trailer. But deputies say the trailer was destroyed.
