Traffic signal to be installed at Citation Boulevard

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet will install a traffic signal at the intersection of Greendale Road and newly opened Citation Boulevard in Lexington.

The intersection has been the scene of multiple crashes since Citation was opened to traffic on Monday.  In preparation for installation of a new signal, traffic will be altered slightly.  The adjustments are as follows:

• No left turn off of Citation on either side
• No left or through turn off of Greendale on either side
• Motorists will be only able to turn right off of Greendale onto Citation
• Motorists will be able to turn right from Citation onto Greendale

Police will continue to assist drivers in the area.
