TRAFFIC: LPD safety checkpoint

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) — LPD announced that they will be hosting a traffic safety checkpoint on Friday, on West Main st. at Buchannan.

Lasting from 9:30 p.m. to 3:00 a.m., Officers say they will be checking for drivers under the influence or not wearing their seatbelt.

Motorists are reminded to keep their current driver’s license and vehicle registration on hand when driving.
