Traffic Alert: Thousands to attend ‘Bike Lexington’ downtown Saturday

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- There’s a traffic alert for drivers Saturday in downtown Lexington. Thousands of people will take part in the ‘Bike Lexington’ event. It includes a Family Fun Ride that will affect traffic on several streets including Main, North Limestone, Fourth, Newtown Pike, West Maxwell and Woodland Avenue.

Organizers say the Family Fun Ride route is designed for all riding levels and will include police escorts on closed roads. Activities begin at 8:00a.m. The ride begins at 10:00. Click here for more details on Bike Lexington.
