TRAFFIC ALERT: Several roads remain closed after flooding

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Several areas are still dealing with flooding from recent rainfall. The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet has released an updated list of traffic alerts for drivers:

•Garrard –
US 27/Old Camp Nelson Bridge – two barges are wedged near the bridge

•Jessamine –
KY 169 at the Ferry is closed

•Madison –
US 25 remains closed due to a partial culvert collapse at MP 22.977. The closure is from MP 22.457 (the intersection with KY 2878/Colonel Rd.) to MP 25.373 (the intersection with KY 627/Boonesborough Rd.).

Alternate routes –
motorists can utilize KY 2878 and KY 627

•Montgomery –
KY 1331 is closed at MP 4.0 for a washed out drain

Alternate routes –
motorists can utilize Harper Ridge & Tapp Lane

•Woodford –
All routes, including KY 1685/Woodlake Rd.(MP 11.3), are open
