Traffic Alert: Rock slide closes I-75 just south of Kentucky state line

CAMPBELL COUNTY, Tn. (WTVQ) – Interstate 75 is closed between Exits 141-and-160 in Campbell County, Tennessee near the Kentucky border due to a rock slide in the northbound lanes, according to State Police. Officials say the road could be closed for 2-to-3 weeks.

Here are the detours for I-75 southbound traffic: Take Jellico Exit 160 to TN 297 to TN 63 and re-enter I-75 at Exit 141 (Caryville, TN).

Wide load vehicles need to detour at Exit 29 in Kentucky to US 25E and take the Cumberland Gap Tunnel into Tennessee. The detour is approximately 26-miles.

Northbound traffic in Tennessee is being diverted at Exit 134, onto US 25W, then back to I-75 north at Exit 160.
