Traffic Alert: Pothole repairs scheduled Wednesday on New Circle Road

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Potholes are scheduled to be repaired on Wednesday, February 25, along a stretch of Lexington’s New Circle Road, according to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet.

The state says the work is scheduled to be done from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  It will be a mobile operation, so motorists are asked to watch for signage and flashing arrows.

Here is the specific schedule:

  • 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. – Versailles Road (outer loop) to Leestown Road (the right/slow lane will be closed)
  • 12:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. – Leestown Road (inner loop) to Versailles Road (the right/slow lane will be closed)

All the work is subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
