UPDATE: All lanes of US 27 S in Lincoln Co. back open

LINCOLN COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- Officials say all lanes of US 27 S are back open after a CMV overturned and created a small oil spill.

LINCOLN COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- All lanes of US 27 S at Tick Ridge Road in Lincoln County are currently blocked due to an overturned CMV carrying cardboard, according to the state.

Traffic officials say the road will be blocked for several hours. They say a small oil spill is going into the creek, they have crews on the way to clean that up.

The state says the road is expected to open back up around 10 p.m.
