Traffic Alert: Lane closed on New Circle overnight for widening work

LEXINGTON, Ky. (KYTC)- The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, Department of Highways, announces that this advisory serves as an update for work on New Circle Road/KY 4.  The work is part of the widening and reconstruction project in Lexington, Fayette County.

Friday, August 26 through Saturday, August 27 – 8:00 p.m. Friday until 7:00 a.m. Saturday

• the right/slow lane on the Inner Loop will be closed between Versailles Road (MP 4.611) and Alexandria Drive (MP 5.490)

A reduced speed limit of 45 MPH is in effect at all times.

All work is subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
