Traffic Alert: Expect lane closures Thursday for New Circle Road/KY 4 project

LEXINGTON, Ky. (KYTC) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, Department of Highways, announces an update for work on New Circle Road/KY 4.

Thursday, Oct. 1
8:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

• lane closures will be in effect for inbound and outbound Versailles Road
the location will be between Wellesley Heights and Viley Road

– the closures are necessary for work to continue on the new medians

A 45 mph speed limit remains in effect for the construction zone.

All work is subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
