Deadly pedestrian collision in Madison County
RICHMOND, Ky. (WTVQ) – State Police say a deadly collision led to the temporary closure of the southbound lanes of US 421 near the US 25 intersection in Madison County Monday night.
According to authorities, 40-year-old Christopher Lamb, of Richmond was fatally injured in a collision that happened just before 6:40 p.m. Monday.
They say 31-year-old Amanda Mays, of Berea, was driving south on US-25 near the US-421 intersection when she collided with Lamb, who was walking in the area.
He was pronounced dead at the scene by the Madison County Coroner. An investigation is ongoing.
