Tools seized in vending machine theft case, three arrested

FRANKFORT, Ky. (WTVQ) – Three men from Mount Sterling were arrested in connection to a vending, arcade and lottery machine theft case in addition to a shoplifting case from a Walmart, according to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies say they pulled over a car suspected of being involved in a shoplifting case from a Walmart in Frankfort.  They say they found fishing poles in the vehicle suspected of being stolen from the store.

Investigators say they arrested 57-year old Isaac Barnett, 44-year old David Brobst and 44-year old Adrian Link.

Deputies say they found numerous items in the vehicle used to break-in to vending and arcade machines and items used to cheat a bill counter on lottery and vending machines.  They say they also found $6,000 in cash.

Investigators say the three men used the theft tools to steal money from vending and arcade machines and lottery tickets from lottery vending machines throughout central Kentucky.
