Todd County man killed after police involved shooting

ELKTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- State Police have released the names of the people involved in a shooting with law enforcement on October 1st in Todd County.

According to KSP, 75-year-old Roy Tucker was driving a truck before 4:30 on East Main Street in Elkton when officers pulled him over.

Troopers say during the stop, Tucker brandished a gun and shots were exchanged that involved Elkton Police Chief Robert Toombs and Todd County Sheriff’s Deputy David Hutcheson.

The Todd County Coroner’s Office pronounced Tucker dead on the scene. No officers were hurt.
