Tips help Laurel County deputies arrest cell phone robbery suspect

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- The Laurel County Sheriff says tips helped deputies arrest a man accused of taking a cell phone off a shelf Monday afternoon at a Dollar General.

According to deputies, 37-year-old Bryan Mounts was arrested Friday night in London. Deputies say they knew where to look for him based on a tip after posting surveillance video on Facebook.

He’s not only accused of taking the phone, but also of shoving the store’s assistant manager, hurting her arm and shoulder.
