Who is throwing rocks at cars on US 27?
NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Jessamine County Sheriff says someone is throwing rocks at passing vehicles by the Kentucky River Bridge on south US 27.
According to the Sheriff, between Tuesday and Thursday, an unknown person or persons were heaving stones at passing motorists traveling northbound.
The first incident, the Sheriff says, involved a Jeep Cherokee that was broke down in the emergency lane. The Sheriff says the Jeep was pelted all over with softball-sized rocks.
On Thursday, the Sheriff says he received 6 calls of other motorists being hit by thrown rocks.
The Sheriff says information on the suspect is sparse, but that witnesses say it was a man dressed in all white who was standing on the side of the road at the bridge.
