Three arrested after troopers find 4 lbs of marijuana

HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) — During a traffic stop, Kentucky State Police say they arrested three people on drug-related charges just before 10:30 p.m. on Sunday.

According to Sergeant William Manzanares, he observed a vehicle traveling north in the southbound lane on US 41, inside the Hopkinsville city limits. After pulling the vehicle over, Sergeant Manzanares requested a K-9 unit from the Christian County Sheriff’s Department. K-9 Timo reportedly alerted on the vehicle.

The three riders, aged between 22 and 25 years old, were arrested after Troopers located approximately 4 pounds of suspected marijuana, assorted drug paraphernalia, and cash.

Michael David Chester, Amber Dawn Tinsley, and Antwan T Pugh Jr, all from Evansville IN, were charged with Trafficking marijuana and Drug paraphernalia. Ms. Tinsley was additionally charged with Careless Driving and driving without a license.
