Three injured in Whitley County crash
WHITLEY COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – Three people were airlifted to the hospital following an accident in Whitley County.
The Whitley County Sheriff’s Department says the wreck happened at around 3:42 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of Highway 204 and U.S. Highway 25.
The sheriff says a Honda sedan failed to stop before entering U.S. Highway 25 and struck a Dodge Caravan.
The van’s driver and two passengers were taken by to Baptist Health Corbin.
All three were then transported by ambulance to the Williamsburg-Whitley County Airport and airlifted to the University of Tennessee Medical Center.
There is no word on their conditions.
The crash is still under investigation.
