“Three for Free” drive-thru flu clinic to be held Tuesday

FRANKFORT, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Franklin Co. Health Department will be holding their annual “Three for Free” drive-thru flu vaccination clinic from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

The clinic will be held at the Louisville Road Branch of the Commonwealth Credit Union.

The event has a tri-fold benefit for the community (hence the “Three for Free” moniker,) in that it not only provides vaccinations for the community, but it also allows health department employees and other response units to practice public health scenario procedures, and helps fight hunger in the community through the donation of food.

Those interested in participating are asked to donate three non-perishable food items to receive a free flu vaccination.

The program is limited to Franklin Co. residents, 18 years of age or older.  School aged children will be vaccinated at their schools.
