Three arrested following convenience store robbery

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Police made three arrests following a robbery at a convenience store Friday morning, at the Circle K on Richmond Road.

Police say two men came in at 2 a.m., one with a handgun and another with a rifle.
They demanded cash and witnesses say they spotted the suspects getting into a gray Jeep in the back of the store and take off.
After pursuing the vehicle, Police say the driver stopped at an apartment complex on Appian Way.

They say three men jumped out, one dropping a rifle on the ground.

After tasing the man who dropped the rifle, Officers pursued and captured all three. They were identified as Kyron Jahmal Jackson, Darius Sawieh, and Jared L. Vaughn. All three were charged with first degree Robbery and Fleeing and Evading police.

Jackson was additionally charged with possession of a controlled substance, while Vaughn had allegedly been driving with a suspended driver’s license.
