Threat prompts police presence Tuesday at Wolfe County High

COMPTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A strong police and administrative presence is planned Tuesday at Wolfe County High School after reports of threats and violence at the school, according to a post on Facebook by the school.

State Police and the Wolfe County Sheriff’s Department investigated the rumors and found “no credible evidence that this threat exists,” according to the social media post.

Despite the investigative findings, as a precaution, the increased law enforcement presence is planned.
