LEXINGTON, Ky (WTVQ) – Solid Blue basketball fans rejoiced when PJ Washington announced he was returning for his sophomore.

At the same time, five other wildcats announced they would keep their name in the draft.

Kevin Knox, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Hamidou Diallo, Jarred Vanderbilt and Wenyen Gabriel all decided they wanted to see their dreams come true in the NBA.

While these decision directly affect the UK Basketball team the following year, Coach Cal says he wants these players to make these decisions for themselves and no one else.
