Thieves hit homeless shelter’s food pantry

CORBIN, Ky. (WTVQ) – A homeless shelter in Corbin is asking for help after the theft of its food supply.

According to The Everlasting Arms Ministry and Homeless Shelter’s Facebook page, thieves stole around $2,000 in meat and other food items.

To make matters worse, the theft happened while workers were at a church Christmas play.

The shelter says it has no food left to give to needy families for Christmas.

It is asking for donations.
