Thief Breaks Glass With Rock To Steal From Store
Police said a rock was used to break into a Lexington convenience store Friday
They said the thief threw the rock against the door of the Marathon Gas Station on W. Main Street and Jefferson Street at around 2 a.m.
The window of that door was broken last week during another burglary.
When he could not break it, he threw it at the window and the glass shattered.
Police said he was able to get in and steal cigarettes.
Someone broke into the store last week and stole cash.
Police said they do not know if the burglaries are tied.
