‘The Girl Project’ Begins A Weekend Run In Lexington

Eighteen high school-age girls collaborated on a performance piece called ‘The Girl Project’ that you can see in Lexington this weekend.

It’s a mix of poetry, spoken word, dance and multi-media, exploring myths about how girls are portrayed in the media.

The shows are this Friday and Saturday (August 30, 31) at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday (September 1) at 2:00 p.m., at the Downtown Arts Center.
