A few showers will be possible late Thursday evening into Friday and that leads to a more active pattern heading into the weekend. Temperatures will stay into the upper 50s and low 60s Friday and Saturday, even with the rain chances. The best chance of rain will be late Friday night into Saturday. with heavier showers in southern Kentucky.

Eyes are on another system moving through the region early next week. The will likely be mostly rain but there will the chance of a few flakes possible on the backside of the system as it moves through. This will also usher in colder air just in time for Valentines Day and beyond.
