UPDATE: Victim identified in Lexington teen shooting

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The victim of a Lexington shooting has now been identified.
According the Fayette County Coroner’s Office, the victim was Daymarcus Williams, 14.
An autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday morning at the Medical Examiner’s Office in Frankfort.
The investigation is still ongoing.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A 13-year-old faces a manslaughter charge in the shooting death of another teen in Lexington Tuesday morning.
According to the Lexington Police Department, around 10:32 a.m., officers responded to Lancelot Lane for a 14-year-old suffering from a gunshot wound. Once at the scene, the Lexington Fire Department declared the teen deceased.
As the investigation continued, the 13-year-old suspect was found and placed into custody. The teen has been charged with manslaughter.
Neither the suspect nor the victim have been identified.
Detectives are still investigating the incident and more charges may come.
This is Lexington’s 24th homicide of the year. The record was set last year with 34.
