Tax returns renew police search for missing man

ASHLAND, Ky. (WTVQ) – State police have renewed their search for Paul Clifton Sigman, who has been missing since December 1, 2014.

Police say on February 24 they received a report that Sigman’s mother, 48-year-old Sabrina Sigman, had attempted to case a tax return check in her son’s name.  Police began investigating, and discovered Sigman’s mother had forged both State and Federal taxes for her son, as well as receiving his tax return checks.

Police obtained an arrest warrant, and when they went to Sabrina Sigman’s home on Stump Road in Grayson, say they found an active meth lab, along with materials used to make meth.  She was arrested on several charges.

Paul Clifton Sigman remains classified as a missing person.  Anyone with information about his disappearance is asked to contact the Kentucky State Police at 1-800-222-5555 or 606-928-6421. Callers may remain anonymous.
