Tanker crashes, spills fuel in Breathitt County

BREATHITT COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – A tanker crash closed a road for hours in Breathitt County Tuesday.

According to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, a tanker truck overturned around 3 a.m. on Kentucky 15 just south of Jackson near Fishtrap Branch.

The tanker spilled a large amount of fuel.

The road reopened around 1 p.m.

There is no word on the condition of the driver.
