Take a virtual ride on a record-breaking coaster

SANDUSKY, Oh. (WTVQ) – A new roller coaster coming to Cedar Point will reportedly break 10 world records.  The theme park says the “Valravn” will be the world’s tallest, fastest, and longest dive coaster.  Dive coasters are characterized by having at least one vertical drop.

The Valravn peaks out at 223 feet tall, hits speeds of 75 mph and is 3,415 feet long.  It will open to the public in 2016, but you can get a feel for the ride right now, thanks to this video released by the park.

Take a virtual ride on this beast, and then mark your calendars for next summer to experience the real thing.
