New school resource officers to join Anderson County elementary schools

Superintendent Sheila Mitchell and Sheriff Joe Milam say that Anderson Co. sheriff deputies will be new School Resource Officers for the Anderson County school system.

Lexington public schools are well-represented in Niche's 2015 rankings of the top schools in the state. According to the research site Niche, four Lexington elementary schools rank among the top five in the state.
