Tacos N’ Tequila to benefit Bluegrass Greensource

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Foodies are invited to the third annual ‘Tacos N’ Tequila’ in Lexington.

The event is hosted by Bluegrass Greensource and offers guests the opportunity to learn about the groups mission to empower the Bluegrass to create a sustainable environment.

It’s also a chance to sample local food and beverages.

“This could not be more guilt-free fun,” said Tresine Logsdon, the board chair.

Amy Sohner, the Executive Director of Bluegrass Greensource says it’s open to the public but is a ticketed event, “For your $35 admittance fee, you get to sample up to five tacos from 10 different local vendors, you get a signature tequila drink, we have a mariachi band, we have the Big Maracas.”

The event takes place Friday, June 7 at the old courthouse in Limestone Hall on West Main Street in Lexington starting at 5:30 p.m.
