SUV slams into Lexington home
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington police arrest a driver who hit a home early Thursday morning.
The SUV struck right outside the living room where two people were watching television.
Police say there were other people in the home sleeping.
They say the driver was going down Beacon Hill when he left the road and hit the house at around 3 a.m.
No one was hurt, according to police.
The Lexington Fire Department came to the home to inspect it and because the damage was so extensive, the home was condemned.
Those living in the home were forced to stay elsewhere.
Police believe alcohol was a factor in the crash and arrested the driver at the scene.
