Suspicious activity leads to traffic stop, arrest of wanted man
LINCOLN COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – Authorities arrest a man wanted on several warrants during an early morning traffic stop.
Around 2:30 a.m. Monday, a Lincoln County Sheriff’s Deputy noticed suspicious activity when the driver of an SUV turned into a closed business.
When the deputy tried to make contact with the driver, the vehicle left.
A traffic stop was conducted.
The driver provided a false name but was later identified as having several active warrants.
A vehicle search revealed approximately one ounce of suspected crystal meth.
Somerset Police assisted on scene.
