Suspicious activity complaint leads to 3 arrests in Laurel Co.

LONDON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Laurel Co. Sheriff says a pair of complaints about suspicious activity led to the arrest of three people on drug charges.

The Sheriff says the first complaint came in at about 5:00 a.m. Tuesday morning, with the caller saying 2 men and a woman appeared to be trying to break into vehicles at an apartment complex.  A short time later, deputies received a second call, also about 2 men and a woman at a different apartment complex along American Greeting Card Road.

When they arrived, deputies say they found the three people in possession of drug paraphernalia, a small amount of a white substance believed to be methamphetamine, as well as 14 packaged and one partially packaged Suboxone.  Deputies say all three were determined to be under the influence.

26-year-old Brandon Eversole, 23-year-old Jason Eversole, and 23-year-old Kalene Woodlee were arrested.  All three were charged with possession and public intoxication.

All three were taken to the Laurel County Detention Center.
