Suspects try to rob drive-thru, get shut out

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – It wasn’t food two men were looking for when they came up to a Hardy’s drive-thru Monday morning.

Police say the two men wearing bandannas over their faces walked up to the window of the fast food restaurant on Richmond Road around 3 a.m.

One pointed a shotgun and demanded money.

Police say the employee closed the window and ran.

The suspects took off without getting anything.
