Suspects indicted in death of Officer Ellis

RICHMOND, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Madison Co. grand jury indicted  Raleigh Sizemore, Jr. and Gregory Ratliff in the murder of Richmond police officer Daniel Ellis.

Ellis was shot on November 4 while investigating a robbery.  The Richmond Register says Sizemore is charged with capital murder and Ratliff is charged with complicity to capital murder.  Those charges make them eligible for the death penalty.

Also indicted were Carl Banks and Rita Creech in connection to the robbery Ellis was investigating.

All four are scheduled to be in court in Madison Co. next Wednesday
