Suspect to be arraigned after causing his ride to crash on I-75

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – One Lexington woman had a ride that could’ve ended her life after she agreed to give a man a ride home on June 2, 2016.

Police say, 27-year-old Danny Hall asked the woman for a lift from his friend’s home.

As she was driving southbound on I-75 — Hall whispered in her ear that he was going to kill them both, according to court documents.

The woman says Hall was extremely intoxicated.

As they approached mile marker 99 on I-75 — She says Hall reached over and grabbed the wheel of the car and caused it to crash.

Hall was booked into the Fayette County Detention Center back on June 20th for a probation violation.

A wanton endangerment charge for the crash was  recently added.

Hall is scheduled to appear before a judge on that wanton endangerment charge Friday.
