Surveillance image of armed robbery suspect released

FLAT LICK, Ky. (WTVQ) – State Police released a surveillance camera image of a man investigators say held up a Dollar Store in Flat Lick in Knox County on Tuesday evening.

State Police say a man wearing a dark ski mask, sunglasses, gloves, black jacket and dark pants walked into the business armed with a handgun, pointed it at the cashier and demanded money.

Investigators say he was approximately 5’9" and 350-to-400 pounds.  He reportedly left the scene on a hunter green Honda 350 Rancher four wheeler.  State Police say he was last seen turning left off of US25E onto Ky 3085 into the Flat Lick community.

State Police say the reported armed robbery happened just before 7:00 p.m.  Anyone with information that could help investigators should call the State Police Post in Harlan at 606-573-3131.
