Stumbo was hoping to get old job back

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Former Kentucky Attorney General Greg Stumbo was hoping to get his old job back saying he had unfinished business.

This was not to happen,voters had a different vision.

In Stumbo’s concession speech he first thanked his supporters and said there are no losers in the political ring.

Stumbo said he will always fight for Kentucky and he hopes his supporters will do the same whether he is in office or not.

“Thank you. It’s been a wonderful trip, it’s been a wonderful journey. God bless each and every one of you. Keep up the fight, Kentucky’s worth fight for,” said Stumbo.

Stumbo reached out to his competitor, Daniel Cameron and congratulated him on winning the Attorney General race.
